Akkodis is seeking an Application Support Analyst for a full-time direct hire opportunity near Cleveland, Ohio. Qualified candidates will have 2+ years of experience in software or application support, including working with end users and performing software and application administration. This is a hybrid position.
Pay Range: $65-75K plus benefits

Application Support Analyst job responsibilities include:
Field incoming calls from end users to resolve application and software issues
Document in ticketing system all pertinent end user identification information, including name, contact information, and nature of problem or issue.
Record, track, and document the problem-solving process, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made, and actions taken, through to final resolution.
Communicate application problems and issues to key stakeholders, including IT management, development teams, end users, and unit leaders.
Test fixes and perform post-resolution follow-ups to ensure problems have been adequately resolved.
Identify and learn appropriate software applications used and supported by the organization.
Execute test plans and scripts that will determine optimal application performance according to specifications.
Collaborate with software/systems personnel in application testing, such as system, unit, regression, load, and acceptance testing methods.
Make recommendations for improvement of applications to the Development Manager.
Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management.
Application administration duties to include tasks such as setting up and maintaining users, and assist in the rollout of new software to the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS:
2+ years equivalent work experience related to end user support and application or software support and administration
Proven problem-solving abilities
· Very strong customer service orientation
Highly self-motivated and directed
Ability to absorb new ideas and concepts quickly
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Experience with SQL, SSMS, SQL statements, queries, or ad hoc reporting would be a plus but not required
Available for about 5% travel
