Electrical Maintenance Technician

Direct Hire/ Full Time

Location: Orangeburg/Swansea SC Area

Annual Comp. Range: $60,000 - $85,000 (paid weekly)

Currently we have 8 positions open:

• Non-rotating 2-3-2 Schedule- 6pm to 6am

  OR

• Sunday through Thursday

  • 1st Shift 5am to 1pm

  • 2nd Shift 1pm to 9pm

  • 3rd Shift 9pm to 5am

 Experience Required:

• Industrial Electrical experience working on heavy equipment & industrial machines (Three phase, 480v, etc...)

  • Able to diagnose and repair all 480v circuits, including building operator stations

  • Proficient in schematic/blueprint reading and modification of all systems

  • Basic plc diagnosis and repair/ AB and Siemens software

  • Able to program, diagnose, and repair VFDs.

  • Perform preventative maintenance operations.

• Strong natural ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, analyze equipment problems electrically

• Install new equipment, run wiring, conduit, and basic electrical work.

• Familiar with plant electrical panels and disconnects, and electrical equipment throughout the plant.

• Perform basic electrical maintenance on electronic equipment

• Work from prints, drawings, sketches, written and/or verbal instructions to perform duties.

• Maintains a safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

  • Understand that a core part of their responsibility is ensuring they are including safety in every aspect of their day-to-day 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiar with electrical controls, PLC’s, VFD’s and electrical switch gear.

• Capable of conduit installation and wiring by the NEC.

• Efficiently diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic energy systems

• Knowledge of electrical motor and automation operation and repair.
