Akkodis is recruiting for a Test Lab Supervisor for an aerospace manufacturer in Lancaster, NY. This is an onsite direct hire position with a pay rate of $80K - $90K. The Test Lab Supervisor will supervise the verification and validation of lab activities, as well as the development and performance of test activities needed for gaseous, mask and chemical oxygen safety equipment. Education -
Required – Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
Preferred - MBA or advanced technical degree
Experience –Required – 4+ years of relevant test engineering experience or equivalent; manager experience not a requirement
Preferred – 10+ years test engineering experience, 2 yrs. supervisor or manager experience
- Experience in the aerospace industry
- Experience with RTCA DO-160 and/or MIL-STD-810G environmental test standards
- Software experience – MS Office Tools, Excel, CAD, data acquisition and coding.
Preferred –
- Solid software experience – VBA programming, SolidWorks, MATLAB, LabVIEW
- 3D Printing
- Strong interpersonal skills (teamwork, flexibility) to work with internal and external customers
- Electrical or Electromechanical test equipment experience
