Akkodis is seeking a Staff Development Resident Engineer for a contract position with a client located near Farmington, MI. The candidate will Serve as the primary liaison between contract resident engineers, coordinating duties and ensuring seamless communication. Manage and oversee the daily activities of contract resident engineers, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards. Collaborate closely with project managers to optimize workflow efficiency and maintain client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
· Act as the main onsite point of contact for customer, facilitating effective communication and addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly
· Provide comprehensive technical support and guidance to the contract resident engineering team, resolving issues and troubleshooting as needed
· Support to resolve technical issues
· Support to identify and manage all feature issues, publish a weekly report
· Resolving Software & Hardware issues and communicate the customer to handle the issues
· Support Sr. engineers and team such as R&D engineers, Validation engineers and their team
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
· Bachelor Degree
· 8+ Years related experience
· Strong commitment to quality and attention to detail
· Desire to learn constantly and dive into new areas with unfamiliar technologies
· Ability to work late/early hours for meetings with international contacts
