We're passionate about pushing the boundaries of AI and ML to drive innovation in our internal systems. We're seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our AI/ML platform.

Role Overview: As a Software Engineer focused on our AI/ML platform, you'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive strategy and innovation. This role involves working with ML Practitioners, Data Scientists, product managers, and designers to deliver impactful solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and other cloud environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Tech Anchors, Product Managers, and Product Owners to deliver machine learning use cases using Agile Methodology.

  • Tackle challenging AI problems alongside Software and ML Engineers.

  • Participate in Pair Programming for cross-training, problem-solving, and efficient delivery.

  • Utilize the latest ML and GCP technologies to drive innovation.

  • Work with Architects to make technical decisions on tools, integration, and other issues.

  • Drive PoCs/Discoveries of new tools and technologies to support a robust ML Platform.

  • Mentor and provide guidance to other software engineers on the team to grow technical capabilities.

  • Support continuous improvement by investigating development alternatives and applying Agile practices to solution delivery.

  • Identify existing bottlenecks and propose innovative solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in Python, Machine Learning Technologies, or Deep Learning.

  • 3+ years of work experience as a software engineer with exceptional software engineering knowledge.

  • Experience working with Google Cloud Platform or other cloud platforms.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Python and machine learning tools (PyTorch, TensorFlow, XGBoost, etc.).

  • Familiarity with orchestration tools like Airflow.

  • Basic knowledge of React/Angular.

  • Proficiency in Software Craftsmanship practices such as Paired Programming, Test Driven Development, and DevOps.

  • Experience with container technology, Docker, GitHub, CI/CD concepts.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Good understanding of cloud design considerations and limitations.

  • This role offers hybrid work options, with remote candidates also considered.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $60.00 per hour
