Role: Sourcing/Procurement Analyst

Location: Dallas, Texas

Office: Hybrid, Onsite 3 days a week

Terms: Contact 12 months + extension

Payrate: $36.hr

Key Skills

  • 4 years of relevant Technology sourcing/procurement experience

  • Solid understanding of a wide array of Technology contract forms including SaaS, Cloud, Software licensing, Hardware maintenance, MNDA, MSA & SOW

  • Advanced proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite (especially advanced Excel)

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Support technology procurement processes, including review of documents, approval routing, and PO processing. Categories include technology hardware, software, and services.

  • Manage relationships with vendors and build relationships with business partner groups.

  • Draft contract documents as requested (i.e., contract amendments)

  • Support the sourcing process from bid preparation to contract execution, partnering with subject matter experts from the business teams to document requirements and ensuring compliance with company.

  • Provide assistance and problem solve for the team and stakeholders.

  • Lead, when required, and participate in process reviews and improvements for sourcing and procurement processes.

  • Review contract files to ensure documentation is accurate and complete.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Experience in developing and managing Technology RFPs or sourcing process with minimal support, start-to-finish, for simple-to-medium complexity projects (to include market research, RFP development, and management of communications and stakeholder involvement, etc.) Evaluating vendor bid responses (quantitatively and qualitatively} and RFP analysis using spreadsheets and/or other tools.

  • In-depth understanding of best-in-class procurement processes (sourcing, contracting, negotiation etc.)

  • Establish relationships with Stakeholders / cross-functional teams to get process buy-in

  • Develop and manage IT sourcing project timelines and lead meetings as directed

  • Comfortable and effective in interacting with all areas and levels of the organization to drive organizational goals and objectives

  • Possess strong customer service and support skills

  • Prioritize and follow-up effectively both internally and externally

Must Have

Technology Acumen: advanced proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite (especially advanced Excel)

  • 4 years of relevant Technology sourcing/procurement experience

  • Knowledge of contract terms and conditions

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to organize work load efficiently, meet tight timelines, problem solve effectively, and perform duties of the job accurately and with input and follow-up from management

  • Ability to work in a very fast paced environment

  • Ability to drive and lead along with using processes to build and improve work

  • Willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities

  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication, organization, time management, and problem solving skills

  • Ability to be accurate, responsive, and detail-oriented; multi-task; and follow through

  • Ability to be team-oriented as well as work independently, results and quality-driven, positive attitude, and be active with the entire procurement process

Nice To Have

Bachelor’s Degree preferred

  • Legal Acumen: strong understanding and proven experience in interpreting and executing complex legal Master Agreements and Service Schedules. Contracting experience in the areas of "on premise" software licensing, software as a service licensing and technology professional services is preferred

Pay Details: $34.00 to $36.00 per week
