Akkodis is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as an Automotive Training Facilitator. This crucial role involves delivering product knowledge and skills-based training to Technicians and Shop Foremen, contributing to a positive learning culture within the Automotive retail environment.

Pay Rate: $45.00 - $48.00 Per Hour

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of technical automotive experience.

  • Skills: Proficient in facilitation, adult learning theory, process improvement principles, and dealership process diagnosis.

  • Presentation: Excellent presentation and listening skills with the ability to engage adult learners.

  • Technical Proficiency: Competent in MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and internet use.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Team Leader and regional teams to ensure course offerings align with dealer needs.

  • Deliver technical, product knowledge, and skill-based instruction, including certification, tactical, product launch, and tailored programs.

  • Uphold the Automotive Brand profile in each training session.

  • Contribute as a subject matter expert in curricula design and development.

  • Partner with regional and Academy teams to assess training needs and provide feedback on curricula.

  • Assist in determining core competencies for Technicians and Shop Foremen.

  • Work with the Team Leader to ensure quality delivery, meeting goals and standards consistently.

  • Stay informed about industry trends and automotive products by attending auto shows and reading trade publications.

Work Flexibility:

  • Up to 25% travel required for train-the-trainer workshops and international product training (Passport required).

  • Field role, with a home base in the designated region.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Facility Management: Maintain the training center and collaborate on building improvements.

  • Fleet Management: Ensure the training center fleet is operational and conduct on-vehicle worksheets and diagnostic testing.

  • Tools and Equipment: Ensure all tools and equipment are available and well-maintained at the Learning Center.
