We are seeking an experienced SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) Consultant to join our team for a short-term project engagement.
The consultant will be responsible for providing support and expertise in SAP GTS implementations, configurations, and enhancements.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP GTS, with a strong understanding of trade compliance and international trade regulations.
This is a full-time role.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs related to global trade compliance.
- Configure and customize SAP GTS functionalities to meet business requirements, including but not limited to: customs management, embargo checks, import/export management, and risk management.
- Provide guidance and expertise on best practices in SAP GTS implementation and optimization.
- Perform system analysis, troubleshooting, and issue resolution related to SAP GTS modules.
- Conduct end-user training sessions and create documentation as needed.
- Assist in data migration activities and ensure data integrity within SAP GTS.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and SAP GTS updates to ensure compliance and efficiency in trade operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP GTS with other SAP modules and external systems.
- Support testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of experience working as an SAP GTS Consultant, with a focus on implementations and support.
- Extensive knowledge of SAP GTS modules including Compliance Management, Customs Management, Risk Management, and Electronic Compliance Reporting.
- Proficiency in SAP configuration and customization related to GTS functionalities.
- Strong understanding of global trade compliance regulations, import/export processes, and trade documentation.
- Experience with SAP integration methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- SAP certification in GTS is a plus.
